Return / Refund Policy

1. Overview

Start4Truckers provides professional compliance and business formation services. Because our services involve direct work, government filings, and time-sensitive submissions, our refund policy is structured around the stage of service delivery at the time of cancellation.

Summary:

  • Full refund if work has not yet started
  • Service fee only refund if government fees have already been submitted (government fees are non-refundable)
  • Service fees are non-refundable 10 business days after payment

2. Full Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a full refund of the service fee if:

  • You request cancellation before any work has started on your order, AND
  • No government fees have been paid on your behalf, AND
  • No filings have been submitted to any government agency

To request a full refund, email us at info@start4truckers.com immediately after purchase with your order reference number.

3. Partial Refund (Service Fee Only)

If work has begun and government fees have already been paid on your behalf, you are eligible for a refund of the service fee only. Government filing fees (state LLC fees, FMCSA fees, IRS fees, UCR fees, IRP state fees, etc.) are non-refundable because they have already been paid to the relevant government agency and cannot be recovered.

Examples of non-refundable government fees include:

  • State LLC formation fees
  • FMCSA MC authority fee ($300)
  • UCR registration fees
  • IRP state plate fees
  • IFTA registration fees and state bonds
  • IRS Form 2290 HVUT tax

4. Non-Refundable Window

Service fees are non-refundable after 10 business days from the date of payment, regardless of work status. This policy reflects the work, time, and resources invested in initiating your service.

5. Monthly Compliance Plan

Monthly Compliance Plan subscriptions ($149/month) can be cancelled at any time. You will not be charged for the next billing cycle once cancellation is processed. Refunds for the current billing month are not available, as services have already been rendered for that period.

6. Quote-Based Services

For quote-based services (Website setup, ELD setup, Dash Cam setup, IRP plates), refunds follow the same stages above, applied to the quoted amount you have paid.

7. Lead Generation Services

Factoring and fuel card services are free of charge. No refunds apply as no payment is collected.

8. Service Failure or Errors on Our Part

If a filing is rejected due to an error on our part (not due to incorrect information provided by you), we will refile the application at no additional cost to you. If we are unable to complete the service, you will receive a full refund of the service fee.

9. Refund Process

To request a refund:

  1. Email info@start4truckers.com with subject line “Refund Request — [Your Order Reference]”
  2. Include your name, business name, and reason for cancellation
  3. We will review your request within 2 business days
  4. If approved, refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method

10. Chargebacks

If you have a dispute about a charge, please contact us first at info@start4truckers.com. We will work to resolve the issue. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may delay resolution and may result in suspension of services.
