FAQs
The Starter package covers the basics for carriers who plan to operate locally, including LLC formation, USDOT number, and MCS-150 initial filing. The Premium package adds everything you need to haul interstate legally, including your MC Authority, BOC-3 process agent filing, UCR registration, and Drug & Alcohol Consortium enrollment. The Pro package is the complete A to Z setup for fleet owners and operators who want ongoing compliance handled for them, including IFTA quarterly filings, annual UCR renewals, and a dedicated compliance specialist.
Our service fees cover the work we do on your behalf. Government fees, such as the FMCSA filing fee for MC Authority, UCR annual fees, and state-specific permit fees, are separate and paid directly to the issuing agency. We tell you exactly what government fees apply to your situation before you get started so there are no surprises.
Most first-time carriers who plan to haul interstate choose the Premium package. It covers every filing you need to legally operate across state lines, including LLC formation, USDOT registration, MC Authority, BOC-3, UCR, and Drug & Alcohol Consortium. It is the most complete starting point for a solo owner operator at the best value.
Yes. If you already have some filings completed and only need specific services, you can order any individual service on its own. You can also call us at (210) 588-9348 and we will tell you exactly what you still need based on where you are in the startup process.
Processing times vary by service. USDOT registration is typically completed within 1 to 2 business days. MC Authority from FMCSA has a mandatory 21-day waiting period before your authority becomes active. LLC formation timelines depend on the state. We process every filing as fast as the agency allows and keep you updated at every step.
You do not have to form an LLC first, but it is strongly recommended. Operating as a sole proprietor puts your personal assets at risk. Most lenders, brokers, and shippers also prefer working with an established business entity. Our Starter and Premium packages include LLC formation for exactly this reason.
FMCSA requires all owner operators with a CDL to be enrolled in a DOT-compliant Drug and Alcohol Consortium before they can legally operate. The consortium manages your random drug testing pool and keeps you in compliance with federal regulations. Driving without consortium enrollment can result in a violation, fine, or out-of-service order.
The free website is a basic business website built to help you establish an online presence. It does not include a domain name, which you would purchase separately through a registrar like GoDaddy or Namecheap. If you want a more detailed breakdown of what the website includes, call us at (210) 588-9348.
Yes. If you start with the Starter package and later need to add MC Authority, BOC-3, UCR, or other services as your business grows, you can order those individually or we can discuss the best path forward. Many carriers start local and expand to interstate operations within their first year.
To find out about current payment options, call us at (210) 588-9348 or email [email protected]. We work with new owner operators regularly and understand that startup costs add up fast.
Once you order, our team contacts you to collect the information needed for each filing, such as your name, address, business name, and EIN. We handle the submissions, track the status of each filing, and send you the completed documents as they are approved. You focus on getting your truck ready. We handle the paperwork.
