To provide our services, we collect information you give us directly, information generated automatically when you interact with our website, and information we receive from third parties (such as government agencies and our service partners). a. Personal Information
- Full legal name and any business or trade names
- Mailing address, residential address, and physical business address
- Email address and telephone number(s)
- Date of birth (when required for federal or state filings)
- Driver’s license number, CDL information, and state of issuance
- Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN), where required for IRS, FMCSA, or state agency filings
- Passport or visa information for non-U.S. residents forming a U.S. company
- Signatures (electronic or handwritten) on authorization forms, applications, and operating agreements
b. Business and Operational Information
- Company name, entity type (LLC, Corporation, Sole Proprietor), and formation state
- Employer Identification Number (EIN) and state tax IDs
- USDOT Number, MC/MX Number, and FMCSA portal credentials when you authorize us to file on your behalf
- IFTA, IRP, UCR, and state permit account numbers

When you purchase a service, our payment processor collects payment information such as your credit or debit card number, billing address, and card verification value (CVV). Payment information is processed securely by PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways. Start4Truckers does not store full credit card numbers or CVV codes on our own servers.
d. Technical and Usage Information

3. How We Use Your Information

- Forming your LLC or corporation and obtaining your EIN
- Registering your motor carrier authority and submitting USDOT, MC, BOC-3, UCR, IFTA, IRP, MCS-150, and related filings to federal and state agencies
- Enrolling you in a DOT drug and alcohol testing consortium and managing ongoing compliance
- Preparing safety audit documentation and assisting with new entrant safety audits
- Processing payments, issuing receipts, and managing subscriptions or monthly compliance plans
- Communicating with you about your order, deliverables, deadlines, renewals, and compliance reminders
- Responding to your questions, support requests, and feedback
- Improving our website, services, and customer experience
- Complying with legal obligations, court orders, audits, and law enforcement requests
- Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access

a. Government Agencies
To complete the filings you authorize us to make, we submit information directly to agencies such as the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Secretary of State offices, state departments of revenue and transportation, and IFTA/IRP jurisdictions.
b. Service Partners
We share information with vetted third parties that help us deliver our services, including registered agents, BOC-3 process agents, drug and alcohol testing consortiums (such as goMDnow), insurance brokers, document delivery services, and software vendors. These partners are only authorized to use your information to perform the specific service we have engaged them for.
c. Payment Processors
Payments are processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. The payment processor receives the payment details necessary to process your transaction, in accordance with their own privacy and security practices.
d. Legal and Safety Disclosures
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe it is required to comply with a subpoena, court order, regulatory request, or other legal process; to enforce our Terms & Conditions; to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our clients or the public; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.

Compliance records, filing confirmations, and signed authorizations are typically retained for a minimum of seven (7) years. When information is no longer required, we securely delete or destroy it.

10. Children’s Privacy
Our services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years of age and who are forming or operating a commercial trucking business. 11. Marketing and Service Communications
As a Start4Truckers client, you will receive transactional and compliance-related communications (such as deadline reminders, filing confirmations, and renewal notices) that are part of the services you have purchased and cannot be opted out of while you remain a client.
Promotional emails and newsletters are optional. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email or by emailing us a request.
12. International Users
Start4Truckers is based in the United States and our services are designed for U.S. trucking operations. If you access our website from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other operational factors. 14. Refund Policy
We begin processing every order the same day payment is received. All government filing fees (including but not limited to USDOT, MC/Operating Authority, EIN, state LLC/Corporation formation fees, BOC-3, UCR, IFTA, IRP, and state permits) are paid directly to government agencies and are 100% non-refundable once submitted.
Service fees paid to Start4Truckers may be refunded at our sole discretion only if work on your order has not yet begun. Once any portion of the work has started or any government filing has been initiated on your behalf, the order is considered in progress and is no longer eligible for a refund. To request a refund consideration, please contact us using the details in Section 15 as soon as possible after placing your order.
